A grant submission structured the way reviewers read it

An early-stage founder in a regulated sector

Challenge

Needed to apply for EU pre-seed grant funding, but faced the two traps most first-time founders hit: registering the company at the wrong stage (too early, before there was anything to protect, or too late, missing eligibility), and building an MVP without compliance considerations designed in from the start — a costly rebuild waiting to happen in a regulated space.

What we built

A funding-readiness plan structured around how reviewers actually evaluate technical submissions, a company registration strategy that deferred formal incorporation to the right stage (with UBO registration timed to contract preparation, not application submission), and an MVP architecture with the relevant regulatory pathway built in from day one rather than bolted on after.

Result

A complete, correctly structured grant submission — avoiding the two most common founder mistakes (premature registration, compliance as an afterthought) before either could cost time or eligibility.

Stack used

  • MVP architecture
  • Regulatory pathway design
  • EU grant frameworks

Result is scoped to what is confirmed: a correctly structured submission. The grant decision has not been made yet — update this line once it is known.
